While not the most sociable initially, he's carved himself somethin' of a reputation for building gadgets for folks in recent years. He specialises in buildin' weapons - namely guns - but has made other devices too. Tell him what ya need and he'll find a way to make it, so long as you supply the materials or the gil to pay for 'em.He wasn't always such a model citizen, though. Lominsan citizens might remember his face or his name for a number of less savory reasons...

LONG TIME AGO...➤ He stole a lot growing up in Limsa Lominsa, jewelry especially. He mighta nicked something from you, once, or from someone ya know.➤ He's been arrested numerous times for theft, public intoxication, violence, and resisting arrest. He's done his fair share of jail time for 'em.➤ As a kid he trashed merchandise and wrecked property just 'cause, earning him the ire of many Lominsan street merchants. Some remember him, even sixteen years later, and still refuse to sell to him.➤ Benem used to brawl all the time as a teen - he'd even try to fight roegadyn if they pissed him off, which was easy to do back then.

MORE RECENTLY,➤ As a young adult, he was a familiar face at holy sites and temples of the Twelve. He studied all of them and other faiths.
➤➤ To anyone who looks into public records, he's listed has having been registered as a priest of Azeyma for a few years before he was excommunicated.➤ He was thrown in jail yet again - for a short time - following the bust of a large Limsan thug gang that's since been "handled" by the local authorities.
➤➤ He was part of a gang called "Bruiser Kings" that hung around Limsa Lominsa and had plenty of rival gangs before it fell apart➤ Currently, he's working with Blackflag Imports as their lead engineer, building them whatever their jobs need him to build.

Benem's an asshole.He's usually got a scowl on his face, which matches his default gruff demeanor. Not helpin’ matters neither is the scent of booze and smoke that sticks to him like a bad habit, and if that wasn’t deterrent enough, his gun does its damnedest to make up for it. He doesn't give a shit of what others think of him, finding it funny when he's called a bastard.Despite his cavalier attitude, he's been known to help out when folks really need it. While it seems unlikely, he warms up to folks he takes a liking to - and isn't scared to talk out personal matters with folks in order to help them. He's been there - he don't wanna see anyone else be there.
